Chapters Adapting and Overcoming
It’s been a couple of years since we’ve been able to gather. Some Chapters have had quite a bit of success and some have been overcoming some challenges since we last saw them and they’re willing to share! Success storytellers will rotate through the different tables, telling you what they’ve done to find a certain kind of success and you’ll have some time, before the buzzer goes to ask some questions!  Eastern Ontario will speak to their Management Advisory Council, North Saskatchewan will speak to the challenges their chapter is overcoming due to some administrator issues, Toronto will speak to their recent website update and their community outreach programme and London will be speaking to progress made on an Insurance App to help members!

Keynote address: Beyond Differences: Celebrating Diversity and Cultivating Connection
Canada's rich cultural mosaic is one of our greatest strengths. You can learn and experience the foods, traditions, and histories of hundreds of countries, without ever incurring the cost of travel. While this is an incredible asset, it can create some significant hurdles in interacting with, and understanding, one another. Whether you are looking to increase your profitability through enhanced client satisfaction, elevate your success in recruiting and retaining volunteers, or just want to get along better with your neighbours, this presentation is designed to help! Shannon shares some of the ways our attitudes and behaviors are influenced by our own culture, age, and gender identity, and offers pragmatic tips on how to build cultural competence to support living and working better with one another.

Bylaws Amendment Presentation
CCI National is in the process of updating the National By-Laws, primarily regarding the composition of the National Executive. This session introduces the changes being applied to the by-laws, and the rational why. These by-law changes will be formally put to the membership in the Spring NLF with a special General Meeting to vote and pass, so they are in effect for the 2023 National Elections. This session is hosted by Kaitlin Roka, Chair of the Governance Committee, and Stephen Cassady, Chair of National Executive.

Strategic VS Operational Boards - Making Your Board Work for Your Members
How a Board organizes itself can impact what you can accomplish during a board meeting and as a chapter. The way a Board meeting is organized can result in increased productivity at meetings and greater director satisfaction. Our panelists will outline how they have organized their Board and the outcomes they see in their chapter as a result. 

Database Update
Last winter, CCI-Toronto Chapter decided to replace its website and database with something that better aligned with the needs of the chapter. The website database project, now three quarters complete, promises to be a transformational step forward to better service our members, create efficiencies, and support insights to grow as an organization. Steve Ilkiw, CCI-Toronto board member and chair of its Marketing Committee, will highlight their decision making, learnings from the process, and outline expectations for a completed project in early 2023.

All the blood, sweat and tears our chapter boards put into their chapter is with the goal of generating value for members. That said, sometimes all this effort is behind the scene, focusing on organizational health as opposed to flashier items. Our panel will discuss initiatives in their chapter which the have put in place that has resulted in value for their members.

Each chapter is a little different, but we all have money in common.  Does your chapter have self-control and accountability in its spending?  What are you doing with your financial assets?  Walter Wakula walks us through some important basics while delving into different financial aspects to consider on a monthly and/or yearly basis within your chapter.
